Our Story

Lanna Shield began its work in Chiang Mai in 2016, at a time when growing numbers of Thai and international businesses were struggling to find legal advisory that was both thorough and accessible. Too often, the choice was between expensive Bangkok-based firms and informal advice that lacked depth. We set out to fill that gap.

Our founding team — a small group of legal professionals with backgrounds in Thai civil and commercial law — opened an office on Chang Klan Road with a clear objective: to offer structured, well-documented legal guidance at a fair and predictable cost. No billable-hour surprises, no unnecessary jargon.

Over the years, as Thailand's regulatory environment grew more complex and cross-border business activity expanded within ASEAN, our work evolved with it. We developed advisory frameworks for employment law compliance and multi-jurisdiction operations, responding to what our clients needed most.

Today, Lanna Shield serves landlords, tenants, business owners, HR departments, and international companies operating across Southeast Asia.
